On 4th February 2023 (Saturday), KOWAJA held a Chinese New Year Celebration at Rumah Jagaan Warga Emas Suria Cahaya, Taman Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur. This house is inhabited by 25 elderly residents between the ages of 60 – 100 years who are managed by 5 workers. Donations in the form of basic food and equipment along with angpaw to some extent can help cheer up and add a happy atmosphere to them. KOWAJA also donates electrical items such as fans, televisions and washing machines for daily use.
The ceremony was also enlivened by the presence of KOWAJA Board Members and staff.
It is hoped that this donation will be of some help to them there.
