On February 8, 2025 (Saturday), KOWAJA held a Chinese New Year 2025 celebration at the Kim Loo Ting KL Welfare and Social Home, located in Taman Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. This welfare home is home to 22 elderly residents, aged between 60 and 85 years, and is managed by 5 staff members. Contributions in the form of basic food supplies, daily necessities, and a small amount of “duit raya” (holiday money) helped bring joy and enhance the festive atmosphere for the residents. KOWAJA also donated 1 washing machine for their daily use. The event, which ran from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, was attended by the Board Members and staff of KOWAJA, along with their family members.
